EVENT: COMMUNITY LIFE CHURCH (CLC) 6 YEARS CELEBRATION

WHERE: BUSEGA PRIMARY SCHOOL GROUNDS

Founded on January 6, 2019, Community Life Church Lungujja (CLC) celebrated six years of ministry and shepherding on 29th March 2025 at Busega Primary Grounds. The day was filled with faith, fun, and family and the unpredictable Kampala weather graciously held back, keeping the grounds dry for congregants to fully enjoy the celebrations.

Lead Pastors and founders of CLC, Pastors Henry and Pamella Mugisha, hosted the day’s festivities, ensuring a vibrant and memorable event. The programme was rich with family-oriented activities and a spiritually enriching sermon, all contributing to the continued growth of the Church.

The guest preacher, Pastor Julius Rwotlonyo of Watoto Ministries, emphasised that six years of ministry is such a big milestone. He shared a brief history of CLC and reminded the congregation never to despise humble beginnings, noting: When you start humbly with God, God will take care of every detail.”

He encouraged believers to take the first step with courage and humility, trusting that God would elevate them.

Continuing on the theme of a God-led journey, Pastor Rwotlonyo said: “I believe that the hope of Uganda is the Church of Jesus Christ. The Church, the Body of Christ, is the hope of any community.”

Quoting John 3:16, he urged Christians to honour the day they said ‘yes’ to Jesus, for it is the moment when true hope is born.

He also commended the efforts of African churches in upholding moral values without compromise. Speaking to the congregation, he said: Do not despise yourself,” declaring that it is Africa’s time to contribute meaningfully to the Kingdom of God.

The celebration was rounded off with lively entertainment, including performances by the melodious CLC choir, gospel artist Pastor Wilson Bugembe, and an energetic youth group showcasing circus-style acts.

The day also featured games such as draughts, tug of war, face painting, and bouncing castles for the children, making it a wholesome occasion for all ages.
