When I was a child, I remember standing at the gates of a beautiful garden, wishing I could go in—but I had no ticket. The keeper smiled and said, “This place is free, but someone had to pay for you.” I didn’t understand then, but now I see—Heaven is that garden, and Jesus paid the price.
We all long for rest from life’s chaos, healing from our wounds, and hope beyond the grave. Yet we cannot earn Heaven through our efforts. Romans 6:23 reminds us, “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
We broke it. He fixed it.
We sinned. He bled.
We were lost. He came.
Isaiah 53:5 says, “He was pierced for our transgressions… by His wounds we are healed.” Every whip, every nail, every tear carried the weight of our guilt—and paid it in full.
Jesus didn’t just show us the way—He is the way. “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)
Heaven is more than a destination. It’s the home our hearts have yearned for. A place where “God will wipe away every tear… and there will be no more death or pain” (Revelation 21:4). But it is not cheap. It cost Jesus everything. And yet—He gives it freely.
So, ask yourself:
Have I accepted what He paid for?
Or am I still trying to buy a ticket with good deeds and religion?
You don’t have to earn it. You only have to believe.
“God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)
The gates are open. Jesus paid the price.
Will you enter?
