WHEN: MARCH 8, 2025

WHERE: PHANEROO GROUNDS, NAGURU

Men Gather Season VIII saw an impressive turnout at Phaneroo Grounds, Naguru, on March 8, 2025.

The event kicked off with a variety of physical activities, including aerobics, archery, board games, and target shooting, setting an energetic tone before the intense worship and teaching sessions.

Following a powerful praise and worship session led by the ministry’s all-male choir, Dr David Malapo from South Africa took the stage as the day’s first preacher. Reading from Judges 16:21, he reflected on Samson as a man who lost control, vision, strength, position, and status. He highlighted wine, wealth, and women as the biggest struggles men face and advised them to walk with Jesus Christ, drawing strength from God.

Apostle Felix Okoh, also from South Africa, followed after electrifying performances from Titus Kuteesa, Javice, and Kajambiya Music. Preaching from 1 Samuel 17:1, he called on men to rise in prayer and fasting to combat the enemy’s plans against men and society. Speaking on purpose, he urged men to prioritise finding their purpose before engaging in other pursuits. He encouraged men to seek personal encounters with God to reclaim their anointing.

Bishop Dole Bronner from the United States then took the stage, commending the previous speakers, saying: “Even if I left without saying anything, you have already been blessed.” His message centred on living with purpose and embracing change and challenges with God’s guidance. He warned that “when a man has no purpose, he distracts himself with pleasure” and urged men to step out of their comfort zones to find meaning in life and be accountable to God.

Phaneroo’s lead pastor, Apostle Grace Lubega, closed the day’s teachings with a sermon on Joseph’s uniqueness, which set him apart from his brothers. Though sold into slavery, Joseph later rose to greatness through God’s grace and favour.

The event concluded with a heartfelt dedication and prayer for the men, marking the end of a transformative gathering.
